Today I really like this Danish home covered in Bolig magasinet. This home has a white and grey base but pink and yellow accents that brighten up the place. The house also caught my eye because of a some interesting elements that I will show you now. First, a playful effect is achieved by painting only one corner of the wall grey and placing picture frames at different heights.
Look how these tiles really brighten up this all white kitchen. Personally these are a bit too bright for my taste, I would go for the aqua and blue tiles only (see also my post on kitchen tiles : )).
Don’t you think this bookshelf wallpaper looks fun in this dining room. Its perfect for small spaces and makes your room more cozy instantly. Want to try it yourself? What about this vintage bookshelf wallpaper by Young and Battaglia. The white bookshelf wall paper would look great in these all white interiors.

I am a fan of mixing and matching chairs. I like to combine pretty design chairs with vintage chairs that you paint yourself in any color you like. Mixing different types of chairs in different colors makes a dining area more unique even while keeping everything else clean and simple, like these photos show. Personally I love grey, blue and green colors, but I was surprised to see how great it looks to include some yellow as well.
There are a couple of design chairs that go very well with vintage furniture. My alltime favorite chair is the Eames plastic armchair (3). I really like the one above, in grey purple with a wooden base. Also great are the dining chairs by Muuto, available in many lovely colors (1) (5). A statement chair is of course the Bertoia chair (2). Finally a chair that seems to be a real hit these days on blogs and in interior design magazines is the J110 chair by Hay (4). What is your favorite dining chair?

This interior is a perfect example of how to make a white interior look fresh, yet homey and unique. The white walls and floor provide a neutral basis, while the furniture and especially the books, paintings and cushions bring some yellow and blue. So simple, but love it!
